A major challenge facing many developing countries around the world is how to ensure their growing industries are supported with a skilled and productive local workforce.
Working closely with the Australian Embassy in Brasilia (Brazil) and Sao Paulo based Federal Institutes of Education, AIS Global specialists provided strategic advice and guidance on the establishment of a model to develop occupational standards in industrial automation and control and a mechanism to implement an industry-led system. This included the facilitation of a series of workshops during late 2019 in Sao Paulo and follow up advice provided remotely to key stakeholders.
